The After Care

Typically, the recovery time from laser eye treatment is just two days. Directly after the treatment your eyes will be re-tested. You will then be required to attend a post-treatment check-up the following day, and a series of check-ups at 1 week and 6 weeks and then at 3, 6, 12 and 18 months.

These appointments are all included in our inclusive fee, and can either take place at the clinic or at one of our local management centres, which may be closer to your home. During your first few weeks you will also need to apply eye drops.

At the first aftercare appointment
You will have the contact lens removed and your eyes will be re-examined.

At each aftercare appointment, thereafter

• You will have your vision checked
• You will have a biomicroscopic examination
• After the first check-up you will have your prescription and eye pressure checked and be advised on the improvement of your eyes
